The icon above appears on the Map page and represents the buoy locations. The colors show the percentage of detections by species over the past 24 hours. For example, if the icon is all blue, this shows that only humpback whales were detected over the last 24 hours. If the icon is half blue and half green, this shows that for the last 24 hours, half (or 50%) or vocalizations detected were of humpback whales and the other half (50%) were of fin whales.
